For all Malaysians reading this, Prada & Miu Miu will begin their sale on December 1st (Wednesday). December 1st-3rd is for their VIP customers. Sale opens to public December 4th onwards.
For Prada, there will be a 30% discount on their seasonal nylon bags.
The "Y", one of YSL's signature trademarks on some of the bags appear on white denim this time around. I really have to say that I'm not a fan of this "Lucky Chic" shopper, especially when the handles are secured on the bag in a way that is quite the norm for carrier/paper bags. Though I don't own anything from YSL, I quite like their minimalist chic vibe when in terms of their design philosophy. However, when it looks like this, I think "Lucky Cheap" is more befitting.

Bottega Veneta will be discontinuing their Nappa Intrecciato Cabat (small size) next year. If you're unsure of what the Cabat looks like, I'm sure it will ring a bell if I tell you that it's the one that looks like a woven open-top shopping basket/straw basket.
The house of Bottega Veneta only produces 250 of these each year, and like any limited edition piece, it comes with what BV calls a "number plate", bearing the item number out of 250 that is embossed on the gold plaque on the interior of the bag (ie. xxx/250). So, if you want to get your hands on one, you'd better snap one up now!
Some may think that it's not worth getting because it's going to be discontinued, but because of the sheer limited quantities produced annually along with the "number plate", I think that you needn't worry about its value as such. It is sure to become a collector's item and I wouldn't be surprised if the price escalates after it is discontinued!
Available at Bottega Veneta, Star Hill Gallery, for RM 17,000++ or SGD 6,000++
Please note that only the Cabat in small size will be discontinued. The medium and the large remains a BV classic.
The Baguette is one of Fendi's icons, and for Resort 2011, Fendi goes retro with the multicoloured dots, adding a layer of texture to Fendi's zucca monogram. Though I do have to say that the zucca that is on the strap of the bag, makes the bag look like a replica. In fact, most of the replica baguettes that have been circulating have actually been doing that for years. So in a certain sense, it seems as if Sylvia Venturini Fendi is actually inspired by the replica baguettes out there. Not a fan, though this would have Austin Powers cry out "Shagadelic" in a heartbeat!

Prada will officially be launching their annual special edition Christmas collection next week at Prada's flagship store in Pavilion, as well as at the KLCC boutique.
I've had a glimpse of what's in store and let me tell you that you're in for a treat! While their Christmas collections usually only feature small leather goods and accessories like keyfobs, pochettes, and charms, this year, the winds are changing. In addition to cutesy pinup bunny and girl themed charms and accessories, the highlight of the Christmas collection is the miniature versions - which could probably fit an iPhone and a pack of tissues - of their classic black nylon backpack, black Nappa Gauffre tote and the Saffiano tote (available in Red, Black, and Peonia, at RM 2k++ each) Each miniature comes with a leather & chain (think Chanel) crossbody strap.
Here's what I got from the Christmas collection:
Aren't they just adorable? They have names too! Betty (one in pink), Gilda, Greta and another whose name I'd forgotten. Retail Price: RM 1200 / SGD470
